Thank You, OzWater’26 – A Wrap on the Week

 

OzWater’26 brought the Australian water sector together again. Utilities, operators, engineers, technology partners and researchers, all in one place. From the first coffee on day one through to the close of the show, it was a good reminder of why this remains the most important gathering on the Australian water calendar.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Streamwise D.I. stand to learn more about our technologies, share insights from the field, and explore the challenges and opportunities facing the water sector.

Across the week we had hundreds of conversations. Some with people we’ve worked alongside for years, plenty with new faces. The themes were consistent. Operators are looking for smarter ways to manage their assets, reduce costs, and improve environmental outcomes. There’s a growing appetite for data-driven approaches that turn information into better decisions. And there’s a real willingness to collaborate.

It was particularly exciting to officially launch our new Odour Control Platform, developed in partnership with AQUATEC. The platform brings real-time monitoring and AI-driven dosing together to help utilities manage H₂S odour challenges more efficiently across their networks. The response from utilities, operators and industry partners was strong, and it reinforced what we’ve been hearing across the sector: there’s real demand for solutions that deliver better outcomes while reducing operational costs. We’re looking forward to continuing those discussions with the teams who came by the stand.

Events like OzWater are a powerful reminder that innovation doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens through conversations, collaboration, and a willingness to tackle complex challenges together. Our partnership with AQUATEC is a good example, and many of the conversations this week will shape what we work on next.
