Can I start with Insight and add modules later?
Yes. Each module builds on Insight as the foundation. Your historical data carries forward, so when you enable Control or Streamwise AI™, they already have context about your operation. The AI can start learning from day one rather than waiting months to accumulate training data.
Does Streamwise AI™ require Control?
No. This is a common misconception. You can run Streamwise AI™ on top of Insight alone for completely read-only intelligence. The AI will detect anomalies, diagnose root causes, and recommend actions—but won't touch anything. You decide what to act on. Add Control only if you want automated responses.
What about safety?
All control actions respect hard limits configured at commissioning. Safety interlocks remain with your PLC—our system cannot override them. For AI-recommended actions, our governance framework ensures human accountability at every level.
What if the AI makes a bad recommendation?
That's why human-in-the-loop is the default. Recommendations require acknowledgment. Over time, as you accept or reject recommendations, the system learns what's appropriate for your operation. And if you enable automated actions via Control, guardrails prevent anything outside safe operating parameters.
